The more electronics and appliances you have, the more cords you have to deal with. Don’t settle for jungle of electrical cords – corral them with a cord organizer. You can easily craft one using a wine cork and a piece of bungee cord.

Mark two evenly spaced spots on the side of the wine cork. Drill a hole all the way through the cork at each mark. Make sure that you use a drill bit large enough for a hole to accommodate the girth of the bungee cord.

Pull one end of the bungee cord through the wine cork and make a knot to secure the cord in the hole. Repeat with the other end of the cord. Now you’re ready to take control of your electrical cords, whether they are extras you are storing, or the cords on appliances you use every day.
