Stylish pendant lights can be pricey but you can fashion your own from just some modeling clay and wood sticks. Cut thin wooden sticks to the four different lengths shown – you will need six of each length. Form two hexagons with the largest and smallest lengths, using the modeling clay to neatly attach the pieces and form a joint. Next, take the 18-centimeter pieces and attach one to each joint of the large hexagon with more modeling clay, forming a smooth joint. Place the smaller hexagon on the top and attach the other end of the sticks to each joint in the same fashion. Let it dry for 5 minutes. Take the remaining sticks and attach them to the large open hexagon to form the base. Hot glue the point where the six sticks meet and them cover it with modeling clay. Once it is dry, sand all the joints smooth and spray it all black. Using a hanging light kit, string the socket through the lamp so that the small hexagon rests on the socket. Insert a light bulb but make sure that it is an LED bulb, otherwise it will get too hot and could cause a fire. Hang the pendant wherever you like and enjoy your swanky new fixture!
