Hanging plants are so cute and now you can have one on your desk with our easy-to-make table top plant frame. Start with four pieces of wood, two shorter and two longer so that you can make a rectangle. Drill a hole through the center of one of the shorter pieces and then glue them together as shown. Stain the frame any shade you desire.

Next, take a little round jar and put in pebbles and potting soil before adding a succulent. Take four lengths of natural twine and know them together at one end. Separate the piece of twine and place the jar with the plant on top of the knot. Bring the strings up around the plant and tie them together as shown. Thread the group of strings through the hole in the frame and knot it again. There you have it – a little touch of nature for your desk or any table top where you want to add some greenery.
