Furniture covered in fur, faux or real, is quite trendy…and expensive. But making a fur-covered stool is one of the easiest furniture DIY projects that you can do. Start with a one-inch thick board the size of the stool you want to make. Glue thick foam padding the same size to the board. Turn the board over to attach the legs, as shown. Mark the locations for the screws and drill all the holes. Screw in the legs. Take your fur and lay it on the table, furry side down. Place the stool on top and fold the edges of the fur over the stool, using a staple gun to attach it to the bottom. Flip the whole thing over and you’re all set. A fur piece is a wonderful accent for a living room or a bedroom. Or, use it as a posh vanity stool as we did.
