Jazz Up Some Plain White Candles Using Crayons

It’s common to find bargains on white candles, but they can be a bit boring.

It’s common to find bargains on white candles, but they can be a bit boring. Jazz them up with some color to add punch to your display.  Start with a few crayons and combine a crayon with plain wax in a clean, empty food can – one for each color you are using. Place the can in a pot of simmering water to safely melt the wax. Carefully remove the can from the pot, stir it, and then dip the bottom of each white candle in the colored wax. Let them dry. Arrange the candles in a pleasing way and you’re ready to go. Dip a few, or dip a lot, they will be a colorful addition to your tablescape. They make great gifts too!
