All cats love to sit by the window and enjoy the view, but not every household arrangement allows for that luxury. Instead of trying to rearrange the furniture, make this quick and easy cat window perch. Start with a sturdy wooden tray that has thick sides. It can be one that you either purchased or made yourself. Attach four eye hooks to one long side of the tray. At the opposite side, drill two large holes in the bottom of the tray at the corners.  Flip the tray over and thread a loop of rope through the hole, with the loose ends at the bottom. Make a knot and pull it tightly. Repeat this for the second hole

Take a small cushion that fits inside the tray – again you can buy one or make it yourself. Attach stick-on pads to one side and turn it over, pressing to secure the pillow to the bottom of the tray as shown. Attach six suction cup hooks securely to a window, matching the locations of the four eye-hooks and the two rope loops. Hang the cat window seat by the hooks and the ropes and it’s ready for kitty to enjoy.
