Every day we come across lots of beautiful houses and stylish interior designs and it’s difficult to compare them when they are all so charming. But some are clearly exquisite and have no comparison term. This marvelous residence is one of those houses. This is the 200 Chambers Penthouse. It’s located in New York City, USA and it was designed and built by Incorporated Architecture & Design.
Designed for a European gentleman that spends his falls in New York, this spectacular residence is more than just a regular home. It’s a statement structure that lets you see how stylish and beautiful interior design can get. The house doesn’t impress with its opulence or richness. In fact, it’s a simple home characterized by a modern design.
The 200 Chambers Penthouse was designed in 2006 and the project’s cost was $2,200,000. The client wanted this to be his pied-a-terre for when he comes in New York during the fall. He requested for the design to be simple, stylish and flexible in order to allow the residence to serve both as a space where he can work and where he can spend time with friends and family.
The architects designed it with a private suite and with a large entertainment area. In addition, the residence also has two bedrooms for guests. The color palette for the interior design is restraint but it’s also rich and includes both neutral and vibrant shades. The interior design is a combination of limestone, mahogany, gold leaf, white marble, bronze and stainless steel. The 4000 square foot residence was furnished with both modern and antique pieces that have been collected from throughout the world. Even so, the two styles don’t contrast or clash but rather combine harmoniously. In each room there is one striking focal point, either in the form of artwork, wall art, accessories or sculptural shapes and designs.
