On the south west coast of France, in the Languedoc region there is a beautiful property designed by company Quintessentially Villas which successfully combines a contemporary design with traditional materials. Villa Frankie is divided in three different parts: the private area from the first level, the living area from the ground level and the entertaining area which includes the basement and the exterior. The luxury French villa has four en-suite bedrooms, but also includes a spectacular infinity swimming pool, gym, cinema room and a sauna for relaxing.
The building is a combination of traditional local stone, wood, steel and a lot of glass that helps the house being more welcoming and warm. The living area has direct access to the entertaining area from outside; it is isolated from the exterior by glass walls that allow us using the views as an interior decoration. I have to say that I was really impressed by the design and decorations because those two dark brown leather sofas match perfectly the glass coffee table and the beige carpet and curtains.
The dining area is beautifully decorated with a massive wooden table in the same tones as the floors, surrounded by shiny white and red minimalist chairs that give color to the entire space. Either I am passionate about cooking and I love every kitchen I see, either that this room is really beautifully decorated? It is so simple, but in the same time it has so elegant and sophisticate furniture that contrasts with floors and also with white ceilings. All those stainless steel appliances are perfect to cook healthy and fresh meals in short time and not to make your guests wait for too long.
The bedrooms are filled with elegant and cozy furniture that create a private atmosphere for those who want to rest or spend special moments with loved ones. Each of them has a private balcony facing the beautiful sea views, but also the courtyard, where there is a magnificent infinite pool.
On the terrace there is outdoor furniture and a barbeque for those who want to spend time outside on the sun or enjoying swimming in the pool. As a decorating detail, we can see that designers focused on complementary colors (red-green) that create an amazing contrast with the environment.
