Modular House in Chile Made From Insulated Panels

When you want to build a house you need to have a plan and follow it. So when you do that you must adjust all the things that are pre-fabricated like panels that have a standard size or maybe bricks, so it is only normal to have a lot of waste when doing that because these standard sizes are not exactly the same with the size in your home design. This can be annoying sometimes because you pay for the whole thing and use only half and also because you need to dispose of that garbage afterwards. So how about finding a way of avoiding this? I found this modular home in Chile built with no waste and I loved the idea.

This modular home is built by using panels that come perfectly joined together ad leave no waste behind. It is the ideal material and you find it very easy to build a house in just a couple of weeks. This house was designed by Alejandro Soffia and Gabriel Rudolphy, and is located in Santo Domingo, Valparaiso, Chile.

The house covers 139 sq meters and the panels used had two sizes: 122x244x11 and 122x488x21. They were all assembled in just ten days and the result is spectacular. This is the easiest way to build a house and also to leave no waste behind. It’s clean and time effective and it seems to me building it is just like building Lego homes. Well, it sounds to nice to be true and I am not very convinced if it stands the test of time. But I do believe that it is perfect for warm areas, where there is little rain and wind.{found on plataformaarquitectura}.
