Eerie eyes are what makes a photograph scary, so why not make up some frightening photos to complement your Halloween décor? Start with a frame and a black and white photograph of people, or a copy of a photo. (An old-fashioned photo makes this even creepier.) Place the picture on a piece of corrugated cardboard the same size and use a sharp pencil to poke a hole in the eyes of each person. Separate the picture from the cardboard and use scissors to enlarge each of the eye holes. Turn the cardboard over and insert a tiny light from a battery-operated string of mini lights into each eye hole. Tape down the cord as needed to hold it in place. Now flip the cardboard over and paint each tiny bulb with red craft paint. Let it dry and then place the picture back over the cardboard, poking each bulb through an the hole. Pop it back into the frame and it’s ready to display.
