Blue – obsessed with this calming hue!

Blue is the color of the deep water and of the clear sky and these are both images that relax us and create a calming feeling. It’s why blue is a strategic color usually used to emphasize a certain type of décor. It’s often used in bathrooms because of the analogy with water and it’s also commonly used in bedrooms.

There are several types of blue and a multitude of different shades. Depending on the atmosphere you are trying to create, you can choose from pastels, usually used in bedrooms and resting areas which need to be calming and relaxing, or more vibrant shades of blue which you can use in areas such as the living room, the kitchen or the outdoors. Also, there’s a variety of combinations of colors that include blue which you can opt for. The white and blue combo is a classic, very fresh and elegant.
