A refreshing summer interior décor

Not everyone affords to change their interior décor depending on the season but there are ways to at least change the atmosphere. For example, during summer months an apartment should feel light, airy and refreshing. You don’t have to change all your furniture or repaint the walls. You can just add some cheerful details and make some superficial changes that would eventually make a huge difference. This lovely home is the perfect example to use as inspiration. Here the color palette is very beautiful and soothing. It includes pastels and tones of blue, hues of pink and green.

The house seems very light and very airy. It’s because the interior décor is simple and the attention to details is incredible. For example, the living room is not that unique. It has a leather sofa with a classical design, a small coffee table and some stools and ottomans that don’t even match. The details are those that make all the difference. For example, the pillows from the sofa add color ad completely change the way this piece of furniture looks like. The pendant lamp is also a very original and eye-caching detail.

The dining room is mostly white but has hints of red on the table and green brought by the plants near the window and the views from outside. It’s a nice combination of colors. The floral prints from the table linen are summer-specific and are a lovely touch. The bedroom is very soothing and relaxing. It has white walls, light wooden floors and pastel insertions on the bed linen and nightstand.{found on Lönngren/Widell}.
