Spacious with vintage accents interior design apartment in Stockholm

This lovely interior is in a beautiful corner apartment situated on Eric Hills, a region of Stockholm. The apartment is spacious and airy and it features a very inviting and elegant interior décor. Moreover, the large windows allow panoramic views of Runeberg and Eriksbergsgatan. The apartment has been recently restored but most of the original elements have been preserved or recreated, such as the arched windows, the parquet flooring, the wall panels, the double doors or the cozy fireplaces.

Even though it still looks very similar to its original design, the apartment now also has a modern look because most of the changes during the renovation process have been made using modern materials. So it’s rather an eclectic apartment because even though it features many original elements the materials used to create them are modern. Still, the styles don’t clash and the result is very pleasing and even unique.

Most of the walls and ceilings in the apartment have been painted white. This, together with the large arched windows form a very bright and airy atmosphere. The apartment includes a beautiful entrance hall, two large bathrooms with sandstone from Bali, a spacious and inviting living room with fireplace and a practical kitchen. The dining room is separated by sliding doors. The master bedroom is large, elegant but also cozy and inviting.{found on skeppsholmen}
