Today everybody searches for a place to call home.Since the buildings are not rising as fast as the market demands, the already existing places are trying to keep up and to maximize the existing space by building and arranging spaces like attics and warehouses, garages or any space that could be transformed into a modern living place.

As a consequence of this fact Slava Balbek from 2B Group designed a loft apartment in Kiev, Ukraine that worth taking a look at.First of all it is a spacious and airy place decorated in actual interior design trends with modern buiding materials  materials and furniture.The challenge here was to make the concrete look warm, the woodwork had to look smooth and the metal soft.

Among the demands from the client there was one that clearly specified nothing but eco friendly materials , nothing  plastic or artificial or shiny.Nothing excessive.They did it as they were told.No ventilation boxes  or any ostentacious things that would interrupt the fine lines of the design.Everything is hidden or embedded.Large windows and glass walls were used to naturally bighten the space.

For the child room the architechts decided to  offer a multifunctional area as a single construction that includes game, training and sleeping areas.For recreation a pavilion was build on the terrace from wooden frame and from a material called fireboard drywall.Overall. this is an example of building a quality and  a stylish place for living from a place on top of a building looking allmost like a garage or a warehouse.{found on contemporist}
