Twilight Contemporary House of the Cullen Family
Architect Jeff Kovel from Skylab Architecture created this beautiful house which later would become the filming location for the Twilight film. This place is situated in an unpopulated area, in the middle of the forrest. It is a luxurious home made from wood as a basic construction material, giving it in the same time the warm feeling of a cozy home.
Glass is also present in most of the rooms establishing a connection with the surrounding environment. This combination of glass, stone and wood confers a certain look to the building enhanced very well by the lighting system.Although from the outside it looks like a small and narrow house, the interior dontradicts this thing by luminosity and a perfect layout.
Given the fact that a major part of this home is supported by concrete poles, from the inside it seems that you’re floating thanks to the tree line which is close to the horizon line, making it to look like a “tree house”.
The straight, clean line of the stairways combined with the height of the ceiling causes the illusion of a big imposing building. The entire house is build and decorated in the same style, using the same materials and also the same theme and colors.Thereby in every conner of the house you can see the same bright floors, white walls, lighting confering continuity and leaving the impression of a whole. This is a perfect home for a modern family who apreciates the beauty of living in a place like this.
