The renovated Brighton Escape residence, a charming Australian home

Renovations are always spectacular. It’s very interesting to see a space getting transformed and, even if you closely plan everything, it’s impossible to imagine how everything will out exactly. If you’re lucky, then your home will be as charming as beautiful as this place. Located in Australia, this residence has been renovated and remodeled. The Brighton Escape project, as it was called, was developed by Australian interior design practice G.A.B.B.E.

The project had as a main goal transforming this structure into a beautiful family home suited for a typical urban lifestyle. The designers chose a contemporary style for the new décor. The interior of the house is simple, stylish and very soothing. This is partly due to the color palette which includes white as a main shade.

The combination of white and natural wood is very beautiful. The balance is very nice. The cold white surfaces are complemented by the warm wood and the result is a harmonious mix. Overall, the interior design of this residence is simple and sculptural. One of the most beautiful and actually the most striking architectural features would have to be the staircase. The floating staircase has beautiful curved lines and resembles a ribbon that goes up to the ceiling.

The residence features an open floor plan which contains an expansive kitchen with a long dining table and floor-to-ceiling windows. This space is partially separated from the living area. This portion features a sunken sitting area with a comfortable L-shaped sofa and a coffee table in the center.

The rest of the rooms are just as stylish and charming as the ones presented so far. Their interior decors are simple, chic and modern, featuring white as the main color and with sculptural, clean lines. The atmosphere in this residence is soothing and very pleasant, making it a perfect family home.
