The Berge – a comfortable, cozy and inviting winter getaway on the Kampenwand Mountain

When you look out the window this time of the year and see all the beautiful and fresh white snow and all the decorations on the street and outside peoples’ homes, you get into a festive and cheerful spirit and you start dreaming about all sorts of beautiful getaways where you could go with your friends or family, Most often, those imaginary getaways are not fancy hotels but rather modest places with cozy rooms, fireplaces and peaceful views.

Those images are very similar to what the Berge has to offer, the difference being that this is not an imaginary place. Here at the Berge you can relax and enjoy a well-deserved vacation from all the problems that await you at home. It’s a beautiful getaway and a wonderful place to go for everyone who seeks peace and relaxation. The guests here are offered everything they need to feel comfortable and the happiness doesn’t come with fancy services or spa treatments but with the beauty of simple things.

Originally, the Berge was just a place where the guests that were coming to visit the new furniture warehouse behind it could rest for a while. Since the structure was quite old and had been through many over the centuries, getting it back into shape was a challenge. The layout needed to be changed as well and this also meant that two staircases had to be relocated and the entrance area needed to be reorganized and relocated as well.

Now everything is complete and the Berge is ready to receive guests. It has a cozy and inviting interior with simple furniture and wooden floors. The sleeping areas are not exactly luxurious but it’s this simplicity and coziness that makes this place unique and so alluring. It’s the type of getaway that you choose after a solicitation period when you just want to unwind and relax without having to do anything crazy.{found on Welcome Beyond}.
