Nice DIY Colorful Kitchen Island

Every space in the house needs a storage place where you can place all sorts of things that you need. For the bedrooms the drawers and the wardrobes are very useful, for the kitchen and the bathroom the cabinets proved to be very practical and necessary.

If for the bedrooms you need a lot of space for clothes or books, kitchen is a place that needs a lot of storage spaces for its equipment, dishware or other necessary items.

For those who would like to add more storage space to their kitchen here it is an idea. Actually it refers to a nice DIY Colorful Kitchen Island made of some old doors. Old and recyclable materials have always proved to be very useful for this type of project. If it happens to get some secondhand drawers, a salvaged door and other old stuff you will be able to build a wonderful kitchen island that will bring you a lot of storage place for your kitchenware.

For this type of kitchen island that appears in the pictures there were used two salvage doors for the top and sides of the island. There were also used some other materials like: four upper cabinets, assorted bins and cubbies, four secondhand drawers, four drawer pulls, MDF, paint, and brushes.{found on bhg}
