The exchange restaurant interior design in Singapore

Certain types of people prefer certain types of restaurants and bars. It’s not something to be judged but rather observed. This particular restaurant is located in Singapore, in an area predominantly frequented by bankers, lawyers and other persons with similar jobs. Given this fact, the designers of this apartment decided to come up with something that would really speak to its guests.

The restaurant was called “The Exchange”. It’s a 5000 square foot Grand Bar & Brasserie and it’s situated in the Asia Square development. The designers chosen for this project were Designphase dba. They were asked not only to create an original interior design but also a place with identity, where people could come and feel comfortable but that would also speak to them at a professional level. The result was this modern restaurant with a metropolitan feel.

The main idea behind this project was to create something that would look natural in the area and that would also suit both the existing and the future tenants of Asia Square. The Exchange restaurant has a modern design with an office-like feel. It’s not a typical elegant restaurant but rather a themed space that can easily make certain people feel very comfortable but can also intimidate those who are not familiar with this sector. It’s an informal space to have breakfast, coffee, lunch, dinner or a drink and it has a simple and colorful design.
