What you see now in these pictures used to be a one-bedroom apartment with a very different interior. The space can be found in Moscow. Recently, it has been renovated and redesigned. It was a project developed by Designers Taras Bezrukov and Stas Samkovich of TS Design studio. The team managed to transform the space into a very cozy home with a quite different layout.
Now the apartment accommodates a kitchen, a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom and a dressing room. It has a total surface of 52 square meters so you might wonder where all these spaces fit. Well, it’s all about being creative and knowing how to take advantage of every little inch of space you have.
As you can see, all the areas feel spacious and you can move around freely without feeling that the layout is bothering you in any way. As you enter into the apartment, you step into the kitchen and living area. Then, as you advance, you discover the rest of the spaces.
What’s nice about this place is the fact that the rooms and the various zones are connected in a very smooth and cohesive manner and yet they remain easy to distinguish and identify. The open plan living area is bright and spacious and it has as a focal point the blue sofa.
The mosaic above the sofa and the contrasting black coffee tables create a welcoming and cozy social area. The color palette in the rest of the spaces is mostly neutral and less striking. The atmosphere remains welcoming, cozy and elegant while accent details make the apartment stand out.
