Completed in 2012, this apartment was a project by DT estudio arquitectura. It’s located in Sao Paulo, Brazil and it has a very memorable interior design. The overall impression is that this is a very casual home designed for someone with a modern lifestyle and someone who loves diversity.
The apartment measures 680 square feet which is approximately 63 square meters. It’s not a very large place but it’s spacious enough to include a large bedroom and a big living area. All the rooms seem to communicate with one another and this dialogue allow for a smooth transition between spaces.
The living area has a rather austere look. One of the walls is covered with shelves and the TV sits in the center. On the other side there’s a sitting area with an armchair and a comfy ottoman that matches its style. The sofa is similar in style but it also introduces color to the décor.
Throughout the apartment, all the room share in common one thing: they’re simple and they feature bold blocks of color. When seen as a whole, these accent colors create a very diverse palette. There’s not much to connect them so there’s not a lot of cohesion in this apartment. However, this supports the eclectic style chosen for the place.
