Yandex Odessa Office Interior Design

Although I am afraid of water I just love boats and going by boats, ships and other means of transport on water. It is so nice to travel by a ship or boat, to let yourself fascinated by the blue water which tends to unite itself with the light blue sky. It is even nicer if you try to row. This fact reminds me of my first experience of this type. I was asked to get into a boat with some friends who new to row and wanted to teach me too. First I refused the offer and I remained at the shore of the lake until I began to win some courage. So, on their next sailing on the lake I was the first who wanted to learn about rowing. It was a nice experience and a great sport too.

The maritime design of Yandex reminded me of all these things. Yandex is the largest Russian IT company which has recently opened its new office in Odessa, Ukraine. The new office is situated on the 8th floor of “Mokoy-2”business center and covers a surface of 1760 square meters.

The office is a work of Arseniy Borisenko and Peter Zaytsev, architects from Za Bor Architects. It appears around a light shelf and spaces like meeting rooms, lecture hall and many others are close to the atrium. The open space is represented by the work areas which are situated in a strategic way along the windows so that everybody can admire the beautiful views of Black sea and the port of Odessa. Here there are separated spaces like the coffee point, meeting rooms, canteen and the sports zone.

The attractive points of this location are represented by the maritime motifs used, the copper walls and the dynamic and warm atmosphere which is perfect for a work area.{found on archdaily and pics by Peter Zaytsev}.
