Simone’s inspiring Brooklyn apartment

This beautiful apartment belongs to Simone Tobias, the creative director for menswear fashion company Thomas Dean Co. As expected, she took inspiration from the fashion industry when designing her home. The apartment is located in Brooklyn, New York and, even though she only lived there for 1 year, she really feels like it’s the perfect home.

The apartment covers an area of 950 square feet and it’s been beautifully decorated. As you can see, the clean lines and minimal style and the main elements that catch a visitor’s eye when first seeing this place. In order to make this apartment feel like home, Simone combined elements relating to her personality and her work. The minimalist style that fills the apartment has been cleverly combined with modern technology thus resulting is a very practical and pleasant space.

Simone used menswear inspired fabrics and linear furniture that represent a rather masculine style but she added feminine touches to everything. When designing the home theatre, she chose to use a combination of three styles: Italian, French and English. The whole apartment is very beautiful and bright. It’s surrounded by large windows that allow panoramic views of the city. This apartment is the perfect combination of masculinity and femininity, a place that any woman would love and any man would be happy to consider home. {found on unplggd}
