Located within the 19th century heritage listed dock and wool store on the yarra waterfront, SHED 5 is a 120 seat restaurant that was designed and built by Loopcreative. In terms of architecture and materials used in the project, the new restaurant is predominantly built from steel and timber. This gives it a rough but elegant and surprisingly inviting and warm look. Moreover, the old school neon sign from the front door goes perfectly with this style.

The rest of the room is occupied by small round tables with matching chairs. The industrial scaled tiled feature wall is the most impressive decorative element. Of course, there are other interesting architectural details, such as the 120 year old timber floorboards and the office that has been restored and it currently used as a private dining room and wine cellar.
