Remodeled Lincoln Park Residence by SPACE Architecture + Planning

This beautiful residence has been sitting on the market for several years until the current owners decided to turn it into their own home. They were looking for a spacious house that had plenty of room for their 4 kids. So they found this beautiful place built by SPACE Architecture + Planning. They immediately loved it and decided that was going to be their family home.

The residence is located in Chicago, Illinois, USA and it’s a recent building that dates back to 2010. The new owners really liked the house but they still felt it needed a little more space. So they’ve decided to build an additional space to the rear of the house, creating a versatile space that could be used as a family room, kitchen, mudroom and breakfast area. They were also able to add a deck at the second floor, near the home office.

The second floor needed some rearrangements and the master suite was redesigned to offer more space and to create a quiet and peaceful area. The third floor now belongs to the kids. They also got a new sport court. The house also feature a 4 car garage and that provides plenty of safe space for the kids to use. This generous house only needed a little attention and some loving owners. And after redecorating and redesigning the interior, it became the perfect family home.{found on archdaily}
