Orange rooms – fresh as a citrus

Even I am not an orange fan, I am one of those people who painted their living room in orange. This is not a paradox at all. For interior designs orange is one of the greatest colors because you can combine it with different other colors and styles. Even if you choose a pale hue or go with a flashy orange, the effect will be amazing. The more eccentric ones can choose to gather orange and other contrasting colors for a more intense effect. Orange is very nicely combined with its complementary color, blue, but you should be very careful how you make this combination. A good result depends on the nuances, proportions, position or forms.

When you enter an orange room, the first impression is that you are in a citrus reservation. This sensation is even stronger if you add in the room an ornamental tree, the orange-green combination being one of my favorites.

Every color has a meaning and a therapeutic action. Orange is a calming color, very indicated for tired and stressed persons. It brings harmony, light and joy to your life. This is why you can choose to paint in orange almost any room of your house. If you prefer a more conventional color for your walls, you can then opt for orange furniture, curtains or decorative objects.

Orange, with all its shades, from tangerine to blood orange, creates an interesting effect near warm colors like white, yellow or browns, but also with cool colors, as blue or green. The thing I like the most about orange rooms it that they give you a wellbeing feeling.  An orange room expresses joy, audacity, creativity and charges you with lots of positive energy. You’ll feel the need to play, to laugh and dance, to fully live your life. You’ll feel fresh as a citrus.{found on decorati}.
