Hamptons estate turquoise interior design by SFA Design

SFA Design is a company located in Santa Barbara that specializes in interior designs. This property from the Hamptons is just one their many beautiful creations. In this case the tram only had 5 weeks between initial design development and installation so they had to work fast. In order to do that, they decided to use local resources.

Local craftsmen were chosen to update the existent furniture and fixture, giving them a new fresh look. Local shops were searched for accessories. Here’s what the team managed to do in just five weeks and a limited supply offer. Notice the colorful décor created using only a few color tones and not vibrant ones. The blue and white rugs bring freshness in both the dining room and the bedroom.

The team used beachy blues and greens on a sandy-colored base, obtaining a contrasting but still relaxing décor. The light yellow walls create a warm and cozy atmosphere and they match beautifully with the furniture and the wooden floor and table. Each room seems to have a different color theme. The bedroom is a little more neutral, with light blue walls and a white rug. The other bedroom is equally relaxing, even though the colors are different. The social areas are the most colorful. I personally enjoy the green elements that bring freshness inside.
