Another small apartment with a smart and open interior design

This apartment has a surface of only 32 square meters which is not a lot, not even for a one-bedroom home. Located in Moscow, this tiny space would theoretically sound like a very unwelcoming and cramped home. In reality, it’s very open and has a very smart interior design.

By using furniture wall dividers instead of actual walls, the transition from one room to another is very smooth. Also, the rooms and interconnected and so a sense of openness is easily created throughout the apartment. What’s also nice is the cohesiveness of the design.

The bedroom is also partially connected to the rest of the apartment. The cohesiveness is also given by the fact that the walls feature the same bright shade of beige in all the rooms.

For example, notice how the open shelves and the backsplash in the kitchen are coordinated with the furniture on the opposite side. The small dining table is very nicely incorporated in the design of that storage wall.

Also, the dark stained floors visually connect the spaces while also contrasting with the walls and the furniture. There aren’t many windows in this apartment but, even so, this place feels bright and inviting. It’s a very nice example of a well-balanced interior design, perfectly adapted to the size of the apartment. It’s functional but also good-looking.{found on behance}.
