Mid-century modern homes are usually very beautiful. They have large windows and they’re usually surrounded by nature. They also a specific look, a unique design that makes them stand out. Most of them feature a traditional or classic interior design but this doesn’t mean that a mid-century house can’t be renovated and brought up to date. That’s exactly what Bassam Fellows with this beautiful house.

The residence was originally designed by architect Willis Mills but even though it once was very beautiful it reached a time when a renovation was imminent. That’s when Bassam Fellows was asked to step in. The company is known for the ability of returning true craftsmanship and beauty to contemporary living and their specialty is minimalist and architecture-inspired furniture.

As you can see, the main directions that the company is based on are also visible in this renovation. The new interior design is evidently much simpler, the furniture is minimalist and the overall look is very stylish and chic. The walls have been painted white and the floors and ceilings share the same color. Most of the furniture features brown tones and it’s mostly made of wood. The large windows complete this mesmerizing image. Even though it’s so strikingly simple, the décor is actually very cozy and inviting. The fireplace in this case was a great advantage.
