Each room incorporates well-equipped wardrobes and encompasses smaller ad-hoc living spaces. These are flexible enough to be additional sleeping spaces when necessary and still offer a level of privacy and comfort. Artfully hidden doors can create wider spaces and provide even more flexibility for use of the space. The unexpected motif is found in the wardrobe as well as silk-screened on the backlit glass plate that supports the platform of the bed. Surrounded by stars and snowflakes, the bear highlights the glass, which is a very artful and unexpected design detail.

Most of the upholstery, headboards, chairs and curtains were designed specifically for the hotel. The cabinets are clad in a dapper brown leather that is accented with hand-stitched details along with custom leather handles. In addition to all the other stylish lighting fixtures, the town’s mascot makes an appearance as a custom-designed iron bear head element over the sconces.

Walls and floors were rendered in modular oak planks that recall the mountain environment and because they were quick and easy to install. The vibe of Alpine elegance is also reflected gray and beige decor elements that keep the feeling soft and relaxing. The space gets its modern edge from the use of sheet metal elements, upgrading the otherwise rustic surroundings.

This style of room also features large, stylish hanging lamps that illuminate the black bedside tables that serve as nightstands. Along with the wall lights and ceiling strip, there is plenty of illumination and the tabletop is freed up for books and other bedside necessities. The recesses and shelves in the room are lined with black sheet metal, which creates a decidedly modern effect, especially when highlighted by the LEDs that are incorporated in each area.

Spacious stone bathrooms feature a modern and somewhat minimalist style, highlighted by the double light mirror. Besides being a dominant design element, it floods the space with light, making the task of getting ready extra easy. The vanity top, also made of stone and specifically designed by the studio, is another example of how the main concept of the space is conveyed through all the details, including the very deliberate choice of materials.

The same chic gray stone is used in the spacious shower. Unlike many hotel showers, which are cramped basic, this one also features a rainfall showerhead along with a hand-held attachment. Recessed lighting is incorporated in the ceiling and a built-in cubby area provides a place for shower necessities.

Even the hallways of the hotel have been upgraded to feature elements that provide a hint of what’s to come when you open the door to a guest room. The same tone of wood is used and the black and white plaid carpeting lends a polished air to the hall that ties in with the black accent walls. At the end of the hall, a wall of illuminated stars adds far more flair and interest than any stock wall art ever could. The unique style of displaying the room number and plenty of light really distinguish the area — no dark halls here!
