A home in middle of the nature

I’ve always dreamed of a huge house with glass walls. Well, a perfect house like the one in my dreams exists in the Historic District of Chapel Hill in North Carolina. But here, we’re not talking just about the home, because it comes with a lot of other benefits. In fact, is a1.5 acre site surrounded by east to west by forest. The modern home was once the property of Coker Estate and was an experiment of dr. Coker, a amateur botanist. So it became a lovely place on Earth where technology combines very easily with Mother Nature. I say that because the fancy house, equipped with modern furniture and appliances is surrounded by plants and trees, like it’s in the middle of a forest.

Even it if used to be a greenhouse, the designers from Kenneth Hobgood Architects managed to make it a cozy home taking advantage of the glass walls and the light that easily enters and illuminates the place. So, not only the light comes in but also the fresh air provided by the plants and trees.  If you enjoy having a glamorous life but still you have gardening as a hobby, that’s the perfect place for you. And, what gives you more energy than a day spent taking care of your own plants.

If you want to run of the city’s dust and noise there’s a place for you. A lovely corner of nature mixed with modern improvements creates the perfect place for a young couple that wants a quiet and healthy life.
