A Truck Gets Transformed Into An Ergonomic House On Wheels

Life on the road is not exactly anyone’s dream. I can instantly think of at least 4 or 5 disadvantages which come with the concept. But none of those can be applied if you have a house on wheels, especially not if you have this particular house. This used to be a truck and it got transformed into a fully functional home.

The owner of this unique mobile home is Joseph Tayyar, an animator who had the idea of completely transforming a truck into a very beautiful and also very comfortable and modern home which he can take with him wherever he goes.

Joseph got the idea from a a program he saw on TV on this subject and, since he had experience in carpentry and also in interior design, he decided to make his own mobile home. What used to be a truck is now a wonderful residence which can be moved from place to place.

The whole idea was definitely interesting and, with enough time and $225,000 this talented guy managed to make his dream come true. The walls of the truck are 7” thick and they offer great insulation. Wood has been used throughout the interior, in the kitchen as well as in the bedroom and in the work area and it offers a warm and cozy look. The overall design chosen for the truck is contemporary as well as sustainable. The mobile house has photovoltaic panels on top and they provide solar power and the large tank under the bedroom is the water supply.{found on Decoist and images from Ilan Nachum}.
