15 Beautiful Ways To Decorate A Balcony And Make It Feel Like a Part Of The Home

A lot of times balconies get neglected and lack the character and beauty that the rest of the home has. Once you get to explore some of the design ideas and possibilities, suddenly it’s all starting to take shape. The lack of space is not a big problem as many small balconies end up looking gorgeous once the right details are added to them. As you can see, there’s not a lot of space on this tiny balcony. Nevertheless, it looks magnificent. The flower boxes are hanging on the outside and there’s a bunch more planters inside the balcony as well. The wooden floor makes it feel really warm and cozy and the little area rug is perfect for this corner sitting area with a little table and two chairs. You can make an open balcony look like a beach terrace, creating a very breezy and fresh ambiance. The railing can be covered up and concealed behind a sort of fence similar to what this image posted by @les_inspirations_de_rose shows. This is yet another beautiful balcony decor complete with a comfortable pallet bench and also a cute wooden crate that doubles as a side table. As tiny as it is, this balcony looks and feels like a really cozy place to spend time in. It has an armchair and a bench with comfortable seats and pillows and there’s even space for a table in between. The table has a clever design and resembles a section of a bigger table with a round top. On one side is flat and stays flush with the exterior wall, thus saving space and being able to fit in here. A really cool trick was used here to make the walls of this balcony look a lot less boring. They were covered with reed fence panels which give it a more tropical and inviting look. Also, lattice privacy panels were installed which make the balcony feel less exposed and also offer shade during the day. A bench, a small table and a chair complete the look. In some cases, it really helps for a building to have beautiful exterior walls because that gives the balconies a lot of potential. This beautiful space featured on craftifair is a gorgeous example. Even without all the plants and the cute furniture, it’s still a lovely space. We like the use of wine crates as a tables and planter stands and chic chair that fits perfectly in the corner.
