15 Adorable Popsicle Stick Crafts You Need To Try

The humble popsicle stick is, like many other things, an incredibly versatile item which you can use in all sorts of cool and interesting projects. For this first project, you’re going to need a lot of popsicle sticks because what you need to do is glue a bunch of them together in order to make a hexagon-shaped shelf which you can then display on a wall. You can also use popsicle sticks to make a cute little frame for a small picture. It’s really simple and all you need is some glue (a hot glue gun would be excellent), paint in whatever colors you prefer, a paintbrush, scissors, a hinge clip, a few popsicle sticks and a photo. Popsicle sticks can also be used to make some more complicated things such as a lovely jewelry box for example. You can customize the box in all sorts of cute ways. For example, you can paint the sticks in different colors and they alternate these colors to create a nice pattern. You can also add rhinestones, ribbons and other decorations. A bunch of popsicle sticks can be stacked and glued together to make a lampshade. It’s a really easy thing to do and a very nice idea for a custom table lamp that you can keep on your desk or on your nightstand. It would give off subtle ambient light so keep that in mind. Aren’t these little planters just adorable? They sure look nice and they’re also surprisingly easy to make. The actual planters are simply repurposed cans in this case but you can also use any round container in a similar fashion.
