20 Creative Ways To Decorate Your Light Switches

Light switches are most likely less visible for some of us. That doesn’t mean we don’t have to take them into account. On the contrary, they are as important as the furniture is, or any other decorative item in your room. Every detail counts so why don’t you let the switches say something about you?

If you have a home library, it would be a shame to spoil the décor of this sacred room with an ordinary switch. If you don’t have a lot of inspiration, try abstract painting. Surely the artist in you will come to light! Pay attention to the colors you choose. Congratulations, you just found a way to use the decorative paper you kept in the drawer or quite some time. For this project you will need a plastic switch plate, glue, a ruler, a pencil and an X-acto knife. Cut the paper, but make sure that it would be 1 ½ inches larger than the actual size of the switch plate. Put the switch plate on the paper (face down). Apply glue on the edges of the paper and start folding side and inside flaps. Wait a few minutes until the paper will stick completely.
