The minimalist Light! Board

Minimalist creations are very popular these days. They often say more about an item than all the decorations and accessories combined. It’s also the case for this intriguing lamp. It’s called Light! Board and it’s basically nothing but a wooden board with a light bulb hanging from it. The wooden pieces is actually a shelf that is partly fixed on the wall. The cable for the lamp actually goes through the wooden board and exits on the other side, thus hanging down.

This interesting lamp is a very ingenious creation. It has a minimalist design that ignores all the details and elements that would only redirect the attention from the actual design. In this case, what you see is exactly what you get. The lamp is a combination of a small shelf and a light bulb. The shelf is made of timber wood so it’s strong and durable. The Light! Board lamp is perfect for the bedroom. It’s simple, small and functional and it’s the perfect item to be used in combination with any type of bed.

Not only that this is a visually challenging element, but it’s also very practical and functional. The shelf and lamp take absolutely no floor space. They provide you with subtle light in case you need it to read a book or anything else and it also provides a small shelf, maybe for a glass of water, for the alarm clock or for the phone. It’s very easy to find the space for this item. The textile cord for the lamp is integrated into the shelf and becomes visible on the surface. What curious about this piece is that the lamp doesn’t seem to have a switch.Maybe it’s hidden in order to preserve the minimalist look.
