A fresh coat of paint.

You may be happy with the way your walls look when there’s not a lot of sunlight coming through the windows but, as soon as spring and the sun come back, the walls start to look old and dirty very quickly. A fresh coat of paint will instantly change the mood. You can even make a change by choosing a color different than the ones your walls had before.

New patterns, textures and colors.

Give the room a fresh look by introducing some new patterns, color or textures. Get some new cushions, throws and maybe some new curtains. Use fabric to give your home a quick and rejuvenating makeover.

Light up the forgotten areas.

By adding a lamp or a sconce in a corner or above the open shelves on which you’ve displayed your favorite decorations you’d be highlighting certain areas which would otherwise simply blend in and disappear into the background.
