This particular structure is a self-sufficient home which you can take with you to any desired location. It’s called The Walking House (maybe a reference to The Walking Dead although it’s much more exciting than that).

The tiny house was designed by N55 and is equipped with solar panels and micro windmills and it even has a composting toilet and a rainwater collecting system.

It sits on six legs which allow it to be installed in just about ay location and on any surface. But the best and most interesting part about this house is that it can actually walk, hence the name. Each leg can be moved independently and the house can reach a maximum speed of 60 meters per hours. It’s not a lot but it’s still impressive.

This tiny house measures 221 square feet and it was built by a couple. The owners called it the “hOMe project”. Although small, the house is equipped with all the necessary elements. It has a kitchen and even a staircase. The house sits on wheels so it can be easily relocated. The total budget for the project was $33.000 and it includes everything, even the furniture and the appliances.

The most common houses on wheels are trailers and there’s a lot of them out there. However, none looks like this. This is a renovated Airstream trailer from 1954. it got a complete and luxurious makeover. Inside you can find beautiful wood furnishings, aged oak flooring and vintage copper features. The Timeless Travel team, the one responsible for the renovation, also replaced all the running gear, the brakes, suspensions, wheels and tires.

The DoubleBack Transporter is more than just a van. By simply pressing a button you can double its size. In 45 seconds the transformation is complete. Then you go inside and you find a waterproof floor, a kitchen pod, storage, a fridge, a wardrobe and a swivel table. It has everything you need.

The Durango Tiny House.

The Durango Tiny House may not be very spacious or futuristic-looking but it’s definitely charming. It;s a traveler’s dream come true if minimalism is one of the preferences. The house is made of reclaimed materials including barn wood, loft flooring, douglas fir trim and tin and cedar siding. Inside it has all the traditional basics. There’s a kitchen with a sink, stove and storage shelves, a bathroom with a shower, office space under the stairs and a folding porch.

A truck, if renovated right, can be transformed into a mobile house. We have the perfect example. What used to be a truck is now a comfortable residence which the owner can take with him wherever he goes. The budget for the project was $225.000. The truck has thick walls, a wooden interior, a kitchen, bedroom, a work area and lots of other great features.

De Markies is one such unconventional structure. It has a compact look when on the road and it measures 2 meters by 4.5 meters. However, once it reaches its destination, it expands and the floor space is increased in just seconds. It’s great for adventures but also as an addition to a residence.

This is Tonke Fieldsleepe, a mobile home featuring a wooden exterior and a retro look. The interior includes polished wooden furniture and has a traditional design. This is an elegant house on wheels for the nostalgic types but it can also serve as a temporary residence or as an annex if needed.

This is a mobile hotel but before that it used to be a horse trailer. The transformation is spectacular. The owner decided to start the conversion so he and his dog could travel together without having to stop and look for hotels. The interior is chic, cozy and simple.

This tiny house may not have wheels but this doesn’t mean you can’t transport it wherever you want. Because it’s so small, you can just pick it up with a truck and move it to the desired location. It has a surprisingly spacious interior. The glass wall lets in natural light and the minimalist décor suits it perfectly.

The tiny house you see here was entirely designed and built by its owner. It definitely has a rustic aura. Although very small compared to other homes, this structure is very cozy. It has lots of storage in cabinets, drawers and under the seats. In terms of design and shape, it’s similar to a barn.

Created by Miramari Design, this mobile home measures 3 meters by 8 meters. It has a black and simple exterior which gives it a modern look and an interior which measures a total of 24 square meters. It’s not bad for a tiny mobile home. The designers propose three ways in which this structure can be organized.
