Actress Sonia Bohosiewicz’s home, designed by Ola Ziarek, features a striking centerpiece: the “Melting Clocks” lamp by glass artist Edyta Barańska.

Inspired by Salvador Dalí’s surrealist paintings, the lamp’s cascading glass forms resemble fabric or paper melting over a pipe, creating a dynamic sculpture that shifts with daylight and glows warmly after dark.

The piece was developed in close collaboration between Bohosiewicz, Ziarek, and Barańska, evolving from a quick sketch into a full-scale installation. More than lighting, it functions as an artwork that defines the dining area and sets the tone for the entire house. Sonia describes it as both surreal and playful, comparing it to “candies dripping above the table.

Hand-formed in cascading sheets of colored glass, the lamp became the strongest accent of the house. Its fluid form and shifting reflections capture the essence of the project turning light and glass into a symbol of time flowing slowly and beautifully.
