Every plot of land and every house design has its own challenges and every architecture studio has its own way of overcoming them. Sometimes a difficult site is actually a blessing in disguise and the perfect example in that sense if this awesome concrete house designed by L.E.FT Architects The house was completed in 2016 and is located in Faqra, Lebanon. It stands on a triangular corner site which inspired its curved and unique geometry.
The house’s curved facade follows the unusual shape of the site and makes the most of a difficult layoutThe interior spaces are organized on two floors, with the living spaces being situated on the upper levelCurved windows were installed on this facade, giving the house a futuristic and eye-catching look
In addition to its unusual shape, the house also features a series of outdoor spaces designed for specific seasons and weather conditions. There’s a spring terrace on the first floor, a fall deck on the roof, a winter courtyard and a summer pool area. This ensures that the house can be enjoyed all year round and in order for that to happen the architects also made sure to include some special elements in the design, such as curved windows and a custom dining table that also mimics the shape of the house.
