Sculptural Home Shaped By Light
Cleft House, designed by TAEP/AAP in Abdullah Al-Salem, Kuwait, is a sculptural home shaped by light, voids, and environmental strategy. With its clean white exterior and dark steel fence, the design balances openness and privacy, responding to its urban setting and hot climate.
Spacious living areas open toward a shaded portico and pool, blending indoor comfort with outdoor fluidity. A narrow central void brings light and air deep into the home, while the upper floors feature recessed volumes and terraces for privacy and sun control.
From its rooftop terrace to its climate-responsive interiors, Cleft House merges contemporary geometry with thoughtful spatial flow, creating a refined and livable home.
