Located into the dramatic landscape of the Lofoten Islands, Aurora Cabin is a compact wooden retreat designed to immerse its visitors in nature. The blackened timber exterior contrasts with the surrounding greenery, while inside, warm untreated wood creates a calm, minimal interior.
Large windows frame views of Higravstinden and the fjord below, bringing the outside in. Every surface and furnishing is made from natural timber, crafted by a local carpenter, resulting in a cohesive and honest atmosphere.
Designed for quiet observation and rest, the cabin is both simple and intentional a rare architectural gem in Norway’s wild north.
