A rustic-industrial décor with an unexpected burst of color

Certain styles are easier to combine than others simply because they have more elements in common and features that just click when put together. In the case of this space, the choice of a Nordic style for the interior with touches of industrial and rustic was a lovely idea.In the main living area which includes the kitchen, dining room and the living space, there’s a very nice balance and continuity except for one element.

The sofa is definitely an unexpected pop of color that adds an interesting focal point to the décor but that, at the same time, disrupts the harmony and changes the atmosphere. When decorating an open space, harmony is a crucial factor so it’s a little surprising to see such a piece of furniture here.Nevertheless, it can also be interpreted as an attempt to impress and to introduce color into an otherwise very simple and neutral.

The industrial touches are very nicely positioned. The pendant lamps in the dining area are a very nice feature that goes well with the wooden table and the chic chairs.

The wooden surfaces in the kitchen create a cohesive look throughout this space, especially since the floors share a similar color and texture. The rest of this home is typically Nordic.
