A Home Among Trees: Minimalism Meets Nature in Poland
Tucked into a lush green plot near Poznań, Poland, the S House by PL.Architekci is more than just a home, it’s a quiet retreat designed to disappear into its surroundings.
The building winds gently between existing trees, thanks to its distinctive S-shaped plan, allowing the architecture to coexist with nature instead of reshaping it. The clean white form and full-height glass walls give the house a weightless presence, like a modern pavilion in the woods.
The interior design mood is equally calm and intentional. The kitchen is cleverly concealed behind tall oak panels, hiding appliances and shelving for a seamless, uncluttered look. White resin floors and soft neutral furniture give the living areas a gallery-like stillness, with large windows framing the garden in every direction. A sunken lounge anchors the living room, creating a cozy zone without interrupting the openness of the space.
From the minimalist patio to the thoughtful interior lighting, every detail of the S House speaks to a love of simplicity and nature. It’s a place that invites quiet moments, slow mornings, and connection with the outdoors. Designed by Bartek Bajon, Katarzyna Cynka, and Bartosz Stanek, this is minimalism with heart and purpose.
