Fun family project: playroom remodel

It’s always fun to find something where the whole family can participate. And when you have kids, what better project than a playroom remodel? Let’s take a look at this colorful playroom in the “after” pictures.

Before, this room was rather plain and boring. But after the remodel it’s unrecognizable. The walls have painted with colorful scenes. The project was called Parrothead in the honor of the family pet. The old wooden windows got new curtains and the door was painted cobalt blue.The walls have scenes like a cute monkey in a hammock or coconut trees and sandy beaches.

The redecoration was a family project and everyone worked hard to get it ready. It the end it turned out great and it will make an amazing hideout for the kid. I wish I had a room like this when I was little. It’s a clever way of making your kid be more independent and appreciate things more.

The murals in the room are definitely the most impressive. It was difficult but the projector they used made everything so much easier. You can borrow this idea the next time you’ll need to paint a wall. This is a very inspiring project and it could be used as inspiration by everyone. It’s not easy, but it brings the family together and in the end the results are impressive.{found on unskinnyboppy}
