Chic, black bathroom interiors

Black is not a very popular color when it comes to interior design. It’s not even technically a color but this has nothing to do with it. If the combo white and black is elegant and stylish, when they are separated, white gets most of the attention. It’s because it’s bright and gives more freedom. However, black is also a beautiful color and it suits some rooms better than others.

The bathroom is a room that can look really beautiful in black. Usually it’s a color reduced to floor tiles and small details but it can also be beautiful on the walls. Whether you opt for tiles, wallpaper or simple paint, you have the possibility of making this non-color a beautiful background for the rest of the décor. It’s true that it’s a pretentious shade and that black walls can result in a very dark interior, but this is not necessarily true if you know how to use it in your favor. For example, you can alternate black walls with a white ceiling or with brighter parts. You don’t have to necessarily paint all of the walls the same color.

You can also always rely on the timeless black and white combination and to introduce some stylish white furniture and fixture that would really pop out. And in case you’re worried the bathroom will look smaller you can use decorations such as mirrors to change that. Some small splashes of color would not be bad either.{pictures from:1,2,3 and 4}.
