Chic and inviting French country kitchen interiors

French country homes have something that makes them very inviting and beautiful. It’s not something that you can point out but an element that defines everything about them. This beautiful style can be recreated and the key is to pay attention to all the small details as well to the overall décor. Let’s see, for example, how you can bring some French charm into your kitchen.

This kitchen has an overall traditional interior décor and a very beautiful chromatic palette. The main color used is a soft shade of yellow that comes in the form of cabinets. The walls are also painted with a very pale shade of the same color. There are also accent details and they add not only color to the décor but also pattern and texture.

This is also a traditional kitchen but it has a cooler chromatic palette. The walls are painted with a very pale shade of blue and the backsplash and the cabinets feature the same color. The chandelier above the kitchen island is especially beautiful but it’s also very subtle and doesn’t stand out much. Notice all the wood and wicker features that add charm to the décor.

French interior décor is also defined by the multitude of classical and elegant details. This monochromatic kitchen is very stylish and very chic. The secret here is not to have too much furniture. It’s better to have few pieces and to let them stand out individually. Those stylish chairs look wonderful and the curtains complement the whole décor beautifully. It’s a lovely office area.

This kitchen has lots of French country flair. The rooster and its symbolic value represent perfectly the style of this décor. All the moldings and details on the furniture contribute to an overall charming image that takes you back in time and in a distant land. It’s exactly what a French country kitchen should feel like.

Our last example is also a traditional French country kitchen but this one seems to have been though a remodel that gave it some modern flair. The chromatic palette is neutral and classical, the backsplash features intricate and elegant detailing and the pendant lights are chic, simple and delicate.
