Between Times: A Warm Reflection on Timeless Brazilian Design
At CASACOR Florianópolis 2025, architects Flávia Koloske (Arqme Arquitetura + Interiores) and Tainá Pravato (Tainá Pravato Arquitetura) present “Entre Tempos”—an 82 m² space, designed as a multifunctional living area, it combines a gourmet kitchen, dining, and lounge zones with quiet corners for reflection, embracing the rhythm of both social life and solitude.
Natural materials define the atmosphere. Soft light filters through sheer curtains, revealing a composition of wood, stone, and organic textures.
The kitchen features a sculptural stone countertop, open wood shelving, and integrated greenery, with a ceiling grid and built-in lighting that emphasize the space’s geometric precision and material balance.
Grooved wooden walls and handcrafted furniture pieces by Sergio Rodrigues and Estudiobola bring rhythm and authenticity, while lush greenery and natural stone surfaces add a grounding, tactile dimension. A reclaimed wood dining table with a Capadócia quartzite top becomes the sculptural centerpiece—symbolizing memory, craftsmanship, and renewal.
