Modern Family Home With A Pure White Interior And A Graceful Staircase
White is not exactly a very exciting color but it does have a lot of character and can be very powerful in many different contexts, including interior design and decor. A house with pure white walls can either look boring or highly sophisticated and stylish and the difference is typically in the details. This is a family home located in Taipei, Taiwan which has a total interior surface of 93 square meters spread across two floors. Its interior was redesigned by studio Allness Design in 2019 and the consensus was to create a loft-inspired space with a breezy and airy feel. The main color which was used for the walls, ceilings and a lot of the furniture is white which fives the rooms a pure and light appearance.

The majority of the functions are clustered on the main floor, with an additional bedroom upstairs which reinforces the lift-like planning we mentioned earlier. The areas are connected by an elegant spiral staircase with a slender metal frame, a thin white pole at the center and floating wooden steps complementing the whole design. The house also has wooden flooring throughout the entire surface which helps to create a warm and comfortable ambiance. Although defined by simplicity, the interior design as a whole also has diversity, with marble, metal and glass being used as accent materials.
