The company that produces this beautiful sofa was founded more than 30 years ago and it’s still family-owned. It’s located in Hickory, North Carolina. Eve though the name still reminds of the company’s original focus on fine leather furniture, nowadays it’s equally known for its fabric designs.

Handmade Midnight sofa by Old Hickory Tannery

Midnight is the name of a sofa that has a classic-traditional design with a modern touch. Like all the other products made by this company, it was cut and sewn entirely by hand. Impressively, all frames are solid hardwood, nailhead trim is hand-hammered, and all springs are hand-tied to the frame and surrounding springs at eight points for lasting comfort and stability. These are details that apply to all the products.

Midnight is Handcrafted of maple with a hand-painted finish and it’s wrapped in tufted viscose/cotton. The sofa measures 70.5″L x 37″D x 30.5″T; the seat is is 50″L x 22″D x 17″T and the arms are 25″T. The sofa can be purchased at a price of $3,159.00.

The slightly curved design allows for a pleasant and very comfortable feel, while the plush further enhances this sensation. This sofa was designed for traditional homes where it would look very beautiful in the living room, in a matching décor. The color is a strange tone or dark purple but it’s a quiet tone that can be easily complemented by any other color.
